Purdue Offensive Lineman Jalen Grant (6’3″/285) is Transferring to NC State while taking an Official Visit to NC State.

Grant only played in 3 games as a reserve this season for the Boilermakers, giving him the ability to redshirt the season. He has 1 year of eligibility remaining.

Prior to 2023, Grant started in all 12 games for the Boilermakers at Right Guard, with a PFF grade of 60.9.

Grant spent his first three years at Bowling Green before transferring to Purdue.

In 2022, he started in 12 of the 13 games he played in, starting 10 games at Left Guard, and 2 at Center.

In 2021, he started in all 12 games, starting 2 games at Left Guard, and 10 at Center.

As a True Freshman, Grant played in the final 5 games, starting in the last 4.

ON3 ranks him as the #53 Offensive Lineman in the Transfer Portal.

Grant’s versatility will be extremely valuable for NC State, who is looking to replace Left Tackle Anthony Belton, Center Zeke Correll and Right Guard Tim McKay in 2025. Depth is needed on the Wolfpack Offensive Line in 2025.

NC State has now picked up three Offensive Line transfers from the Portal thus far, with Grant joining Utah State’s Teague Andersen and North Carolina A&T’s Brock Stukes.

Elon Tight End Cody Hardy also transferred to NC State yesterday.
