Philip Rivers & Son Gunner Rivers Were at NC State’s Practice Yesterday

Wolfpack legend Philip Rivers and his son, Gunner Rivers (6’2″/175), attended NC State’s football practice yesterday.

Gunner Rivers, son of Phillip Rivers was spotted at NC State today. Gunner is a class of 2027 graduate and is a top 5 recruit in the nation at the QB position.

Gunner is on the cusp of being a 5-star prospect, with Rivals ranking him as the #30 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class, the #6 quarterback, and the #3 player in the state of Alabama. He is a consensus 4-star prospect and a consensus top-200 player nationally.

Last season, as a sophomore, Rivers was outstanding, completing 63% of his passes for 3,947 yards and 36 touchdowns, while throwing only 6 interceptions for St. Michael Catholic. His QB rating was 115.8.
