NC State Forward Ismael Diouf confirmed with me this evening that he is entering the Transfer Portal.

Diouf joined the Wolfpack this past offseason from Laval College in Quebec City, Canada. Despite being the #1 draft pick in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), Diouf opted to continue his college basketball career at NC State, committing to run with the Pack on June 24th last summer.

This season, Diouf appeared in 18 games, averaging 2.2 points in 8 minutes per game. His best performance was a 9-point, 5-rebound game on the road at Stanford.

After playing two years at Laval and one year at NC State, Diouf has one year of eligibility remaining.

Since the Transfer Portal opened on March 24th, six Wolfpack players have entered: Forwards Ben Middlebrooks and Ismael Diouf, Guards Mike JamesDennis Parker Jr., Marcus Hill and Bryce Heard.

The only scholarship players from this years team still on the roster are Freshmen Paul McNeil and Trey Parker.
