3-Star Quarterback Travis Burgess has Scheduled an Official Visit to NC State

3-star 2026 quarterback Travis Burgess (6’5″/210) has confirmed that he has scheduled an official visit to NC State for June 6-8.

Burgess is a consensus 3-star prospect. ESPN ranks him as the No. 14 dual-threat quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class, while ON3 ranks him as the No. 26 overall quarterback. ON3 also lists Burgess as the No. 37 overall player in the state of Georgia in the 2026 class.

NC State extended an offer to Burgess on March 25th, and he also holds offers from Auburn, Wisconsin, Arizona State, Mississippi State, Boston College, Duke, Pitt, Virginia Tech, Utah, and UNC.

Burgess was in Raleigh for an unofficial visit on April 25th.

This past season, he completed 60.2% of his passes for 2,255 yards and 23 touchdowns, with just four interceptions for Grayson High School (Loganville, GA). He also rushed for 596 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 10.3 yards per carry.
