He also holds offers from Indiana, Georgetown, Rutgers, Tennessee, Oklahoma St., Mississippi St., LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Penn St., Washington, VCU, FSU, Georgia, UVA, Cincinnati, Kansas, Louisville, Missouri and others.

ON3 ranks Almond as the #25 overall player nationally, the #5 Power Forward and the #2 player in the state of Virginia in the 2026 recruiting class. 247Sports ranks him as the #4 Center in the 2026 recruiting class.

This past season, Almond averaged 21.8 points, 7.8 rebounds 2.3 blocks and 1.7 steals, shooting 63% from the field and 44% from beyond the arc for John Marshall.
