NC State Sophomore Wide Receiver Terrell Anderson met with the media after practice today before the Wolfpack plays at Pitt on Saturday. You can watch the video above, and read the transcript below.

First of all, how are you from a health standpoint?

I’m good, I’m healing. I’m in the treatment room. I’m healing. I’m getting better, healing.

I see you’re wearing a green jersey. Are you able to go through full practice now at this point?

Yeah, I’ve pulled through everything. I ain’t done nothing I didn’t do today with the team, but I’m good.

You’ve told me in the past. You didn’t always like being a returner, but you’re so good at it. How do you feel about being a return guy now?

I mean, now it’s kind of changed because I’ve been working. I’ve been a two-kick returner and par-returner here for two years. I’ve been fielding punts and kicks since I came in. I just never got the chance to go out there and play as a returner. I’m comfortable with doing it. It’s something I’ve been doing my whole life.Once I get out there, I don’t think too hard on it.

The first one, even though it didn’t count, how much did that kind of just help? Just kind of prove that you can do it in the game?

I mean, I’m not sure if it did get called back. I’ll probably be more happy, but it is what it is. I know more opportunities are going to come in the future. I’m just waiting for those opportunities, those lanes to open so I can do what I do.

For fans who may not know how good you were at kick returns, I don’t know how many punt returns you did at Grimsley, but how good were you in high school?

How good was I?  I don’t know. In high school, I don’t know, ask google good I was. Kick return, I think I returned. In high school, I probably returned like seven, eight. And then punt return, I probably returned like three, four. In high school, it was different though because punt return, I could let the ball hit the ground, roll, scoop it. Now, I’ve got to field everyone, so I’m just more about getting to the ball.

Did the bye week come at a good time for you? How did you spend your time?

Bye week, I was really just focusing on getting my body back together, my shoulder. Doing a lot of rehab and just learning, still watching film, getting new installs. I’m still there. I’m just focusing on getting my body together first, and then I’m out there now.

What do you see in Pitt? What type of defense do they have?

I don’t know. They’ve got a really good defense. They play in a lot zone. I don’t think they trust DBs like that, so they are held a lot far back. I think it’s going to be a lot of open zones for us to catch the ball, make plays in.
