NC State Redshirt Sophomore Wide Receiver Noah Rogers is entering the Transfer Portal.

With Rogers leaving, NC State will be without their 3 top receivers in 2026. Tight End Justin Joly is out of eligibility, and Terrell Anderson and Rogers are transferring. If you’re looking at receptions, the Wolfpack will be without its Top-4 receivers next season. Redshirt Sophomore Running Back Hollywood Smothers ranked 3rd in receptions this year.

Rogers finished this year with 33 receptions for 441 yards (3rd on the team) and 3 touchdowns. He transferred from Ohio State to Raleigh prior to the 2024 season, and finished with 35 receptions, 478 yards and 1 touchdown his first year in Raleigh. In Year 2, Rogers had less receptions and receiving yards.

Coming out of high school, Rogers was one of the top prospects nationally in the 2023 recruiting class. ON3 rated him as a 5-star high school prospect out of Rolesville High School right down the road, the #26 overall player nationally, the #3 wide receiver and the #1 player in the state of North Carolina.

Rogers has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Rogers is the 10th NC State player to enter the Transfer Portal, joining Wide Receiver Terrell Anderson, Safety Daemon Fagan, Wide Receiver Jimmar Boston, Linebacker Elijah Groves, Wide Receiver Christian Zachary, Running Back Hollywood Smothers, Defensive End Justin Terrell, Defensive End Josh Alexander-Felton and Offensive Lineman Val Erickson.
