UConn OT Transfer Carsten Casady Visiting NC State This Weekend

UConn Offensive Tackle Transfer Carsten Casady (6’7″/300) confirmed with me that he is on an Official Visit to NC State this weekend.

Casady was the Huskies’ starting Right Tackle this season. In 2024, as a Redshirt Freshman, Casady started the final 5 games of the season, playing 2 games at Center and 3 games at Right Guard.

This season, Casady earned an overall PFF grade of 71.6.

247Sports currently ranks him as the #241 overall player in the Portal, and the #12 Offensive Tackle.

Casady is a Triangle native, playing high school football down the road at Rolesville, where he was teammates with former NC State Wide Receiver Noah Rogers, who entered the Transfer Portal.

He told me that he also might visit Mississippi St. and UCF, but nothing is officially scheduled.

Casady has 2 years of eligibility remaining.
