Michigan State EDGE Transfer David Santiago Set to Visit NC State

According to reports, Michigan State EDGE transfer David Santiago (6’4″/253) is set to visit NC State on January 10.

Santiago began a visit with Virginia today and previously visited Kansas.

This fall, Santiago appeared in 12 games for Michigan State, recording 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one pass deflection, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery while playing primarily off the bench.

Santiago started his collegiate career at Air Force, where he redshirted his first season. As a redshirt freshman, he tallied 38 tackles, five tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three pass deflections, and one forced fumble in 10 games.

Despite not starting a game, Santiago earned the fourth-highest overall PFF grade on Michigan State’s defense this season.

A Raleigh native, Santiago played his high school football at Millbrook.

He has two years of eligibility remaining.
