Georgia Cornerback Ondre Evans (6’0″/195) is transferring to NC State

Evans was a true freshman for the Bulldogs this season but did not see the field, preserving his redshirt.

He was a consensus 4-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, with Rivals ranking him as the No. 89 overall player nationally. 247Sports ranked him as the No. 9 cornerback in the country, while ESPN ranked him as the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee.

Evans has three years of eligibility remaining.

He becomes the 4th transfer commitment for NC State this cycle, joining Arkansas State punter Jackson Waller, ECU offensive lineman Jimarion McCrimon and Buffalo wide receiver Victor Snow.
