NC State Forward Jerry Deng is Entering the Transfer Portal

According to reports, NC State forward Jerry Deng is entering the Transfer Portal.

Deng transferred to Raleigh this past offseason from Florida State, but his time on the court this season was limited. He appeared in just eight games before receiving a medical redshirt, giving him two years of eligibility remaining.

His top performance in a Wolfpack uniform came against Texas Southern on December 17, when he scored 14 points and knocked down four three-pointers.

Before arriving at NC State, Deng averaged 7.0 points per game as a sophomore at Florida State, shooting 37% from three-point range. He began his collegiate career at Hampton, where he averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 39.1% from beyond the arc.

With this development, NC State has now had eight players enter the Transfer Portal:
