According to Sam Kayser, NC State has expressed interest in Campbell transfer guard Jeremiah Johnson (6’4”, 180 pounds).

Johnson is drawing widespread attention in the portal, also hearing from Iowa, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, SMU, Memphis, Miami, Georgia Tech, TCU, South Carolina, Creighton, Gonzaga, Saint Louis, and Georgia.

He’s coming off a breakout sophomore season at Campbell, where he averaged 15.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 44.9% from the field and 37.4% from three-point range. His performance earned him Third Team All-CAA honors.

Before arriving at Campbell, Johnson began his collegiate career at Green Bay, where he averaged 10.5 points and 4.5 rebounds as a freshman while shooting an efficient 50.5% from the field.

Coming out of high school, Johnson was a 4-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. Rivals ranked him as the No. 133 overall player nationally and the No. 3 player in the state of Oklahoma. He was originally committed to Oklahoma State before ultimately landing at Green Bay.

Johnson will have two years of eligibility remaining at his next destination.
