4-Star DT Nate Kamba Visiting NC State This Weekend

2027 defensive tackle Nate Kamba (6’4”, 305 pounds) confirmed he will be taking an official visit to NC State this weekend.

Kamba is one of the top in-state defensive prospects in the 2027 class, and his visit marks another important opportunity for the Wolfpack to make an impression early in the cycle.

He has a loaded visit schedule ahead, with additional official visits lined up at Louisville, Ohio State, South Carolina, Georgia, and Auburn.

NC State extended an offer to Kamba on September 1st of last year and has remained in the mix as his recruitment has taken off.

From a rankings standpoint, Kamba is a consensus 4-star prospect. ESPN ranks him as the No. 194 overall player nationally in the 2027 class, the No. 19 defensive tackle, and the No. 9 player in the state of North Carolina.

With his size, strength, and in-state ties, Kamba represents a high-priority target for the Wolfpack as they continue to build out their 2027 class.
