2027 DL Julius LaRosa III Visiting NC State This Weekend

2027 defensive lineman Julius LaRosa III (6’1”, 280 pounds) will be taking an official visit to NC State this weekend, according to a source.

LaRosa continues to see his recruitment heat up, with another official visit scheduled the weekend of June 5-7 with Kansas.

NC State moved quickly in his recruitment, extending an offer on April 13 and securing an official visit less than a month later.

His offer list reflects that rising interest, including Kansas, FAU, UCLA, Louisville, Tennessee, South Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, James Madison, and others.

On the field, LaRosa has been a disruptive force. This past season at University Christian (Jacksonville, FL), he recorded 59 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks.

From a rankings standpoint, Rivals and 247Sports both rate him as a 3-star prospect, with Rivals ranking him as the No. 98 overall player in the state of Florida in the 2027 class.

And the film? It’s loud.

LaRosa brings a physical, aggressive presence to the defensive line. He’s strong at the point of attack, moves well for his size, and consistently plays with an edge. The kind of edge that doesn’t just end plays…it sends a message.
