2027 EDGE Jadell Carter Visiting NC State This Weekend

2027 edge rusher Jadell Carter (6’5”, 200 pounds) is taking an official visit to NC State this weekend.

Carter is one of several defensive prospects the Wolfpack will host as they continue to build momentum in the 2027 recruiting cycle.

Carter has a full slate of official visits lined up, including:

Minnesota
Boston College
Mississippi State

NC State extended an offer back on November 11 and has remained firmly involved since. His offer list also includes Nebraska, UCF, Memphis, South Florida, and others.

247Sports rank him as the #59 EDGE nationally, and the #77 overall player in the state of Florida in the 2027 recruiting class.

Carter’s junior season at South Fort Myers High School (Fort Myers, FL) was nothing short of dominant:

At 6’5” with length and pass-rushing production like that, Carter is a prospect whose stock could continue to rise as the cycle progresses.
