NC State extended a scholarship offer to Itawamba Community College cornerback Dy’lan Johnson (6’4”, 190 pounds) on Wednesday.

After a Freshman season with the Indians, Johnson is beginning to see his recruitment pick up momentum.

Johnson recently picked up an offer from LSU Tigers football during a visit this past weekend. His growing offer list also includes Kansas State, Jackson State, Troy, and North Alabama.

As of now, Johnson does not have plans to visit NC State, but he shared that Brian Mitchell, the Wolfpack’s cornerbacks coach, plans to go see him in person.

Johnson played for Baldwyn High School in Mississippi, where he played Quarterback and Free Safety.
