Former NC State guard Tre Holloman will have another opportunity to showcase his game at the professional level.
Holloman has been named to the Orlando Magic’s roster for the 2026 NBA Summer League, giving him a chance to compete for an NBA contract after going undrafted.

The Magic open Summer League play tomorrow night against the Charlotte Hornets at **7:30 p.m. ET** on Prime Video.
Productive Season at NC State
Holloman spent one season in Raleigh after transferring from Michigan State and quickly became one of the Wolfpack’s most reliable guards.
2025-26 Statistics
9.2 points per game
2.1 assists per game
40.2% from three-point range
25.6 minutes per game
27 starts in 32 games
Holloman’s perimeter shooting became one of his biggest strengths, knocking down over 40 percent of his three-point attempts while providing veteran leadership for a roster built largely through the Transfer Portal.
Three Years at Michigan State
Before arriving at NC State, Holloman spent three seasons playing for Tom Izzo at Michigan State.
During his junior season with the Spartans, he averaged:
9.1 points
3.7 assists
That experience helped prepare him for a key role with the Wolfpack during the 2025-26 season.
Another Opportunity to Impress
NBA Summer League serves as one of the final opportunities for undrafted players to earn contracts before training camp.
Strong performances can lead to two-way contracts, Exhibit 10 deals, or invitations to preseason camp.
Holloman will look to prove he belongs at the next level when Orlando opens play in Las Vegas.
Wolfpack Reunion in Summer League
Holloman won’t be the only former NC State player participating in Summer League.
Former Wolfpack point guard Quadir Copeland will suit up for the Houston Rockets after signing a two-way contract with the franchise following the NBA Draft.
With two former NC State guards competing this summer, Wolfpack fans will have plenty to watch over the coming weeks.
