Moore is Back
With a simple, “I’m Back” response, linebacker Isiah Moore announced he is returning to State next season.
Moore season was ended in the game against Miami. The highly regarded, #1 wearing Moore was having an outstanding season. Through basically 6 games, Moore had 43 tackles, 7 QB hits, sack and interception. Along with Wilson and Thomas, the trio came into the season ranked as one of the best linebacker units in the country.
Person to Head to NFL
Ricky Person, Jr. has truly been the everything back for State. He leads the team with five rushing touchdowns, while being fifth on the team in reception yards. With a strong finish to the year, he should hit career highs in rushing yards (600+), touchdowns (7) and receiving yards (240+) with no fumbles. He also continuously improved per rush yardage to a career high 4.6 this year.
