Joe Gigilo, of the News and Observer, had an interesting tweet this week that showed NC State’s record based on the start time of their games.  Check out the tweet below:

These statistics bode well for the game tonight as the Pack travels to South Alabama which is slated for an 8PM kickoff, the fourth night time start of the season.  Looking ahead at the schedule as it is at the moment, the Wolfpack has another 8PM kickoff as they travel to Blacksburg for a Friday night showdown (Oct. 9th) on ESPN.  Hopefully the Wolfpack will have a night time Halloween special as they host the Clemson Tigers, but the start for this game is TBA.

Conversely, the Wolfpack has not fared well in noon or early afternoon slots over the past 5 years.

To be even more specific, Dave Doeren hasn’t had that much success in the early games since arriving in Raleigh.

Next Saturday NC State will look to improve upon that record as they play host to the Louisville Cardinals at Carter Finley which has been announced as a 12:30 start time.
