The Suns have exercised their 2016-17 option on former NC State forward T.J. Warren.  Phoenix signed Warren to a 2-year $3,994,200 contract after drafting him with the 14th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.  Included in the deal were team options for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. Warren will make $2.04 million this season, and he will get a slight boost next year, making $2.14 million in 2016-17.

Warren led the Suns in scoring this preseason, averaging 13.7 points per game.
