Former NC State All-ACC guard Jarkel Joiner is putting together one of the best stretches of his professional career.

After beginning the season in the NBA G League, Joiner signed with the Vancouver Bandits of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) in late May, and he has wasted little time making an impact.

Through 13 games, Joiner has emerged as one of the league’s top scorers.

Red-Hot Start in Vancouver

Since joining the Bandits, Joiner has been one of the CEBL’s most productive guards.

2026 CEBL Statistics

21.2 points per game
4.2 assists per game
3.3 rebounds per game
48.8% shooting from the field
39.7% shooting from three-point range

Joiner has started seven of his 13 appearances and has given Vancouver an immediate offensive boost with his ability to score at all three levels.

G League Experience

Before heading north of the border, Joiner spent the 2025-26 season with Raptors 905, the Toronto Raptors’ NBA G League affiliate.

3.5 assists per game

Prior to that, Joiner spent two seasons with the College Park Skyhawks.

Over three career G League seasons, he has averaged:

3.6 assists per game

His strong play in Canada could position him for another opportunity at a higher professional level.

Memorable Season at NC State

Wolfpack fans only had one season to watch Joiner in Raleigh, but he made the most of it.

During the 2022-23 season, Joiner earned Second Team All-ACC honors after leading NC State back to the NCAA Tournament.

2022-23 NC State Statistics

17.0 points per game
4.8 rebounds per game
3.6 assists per game
1.3 steals per game

Joiner’s scoring ability, leadership, and clutch performances quickly made him a fan favorite during his lone season with the Wolfpack.

Final Thoughts

Jarkel Joiner continues to prove he can score wherever he plays.

After establishing himself in the G League over the past three seasons, he’s enjoying a breakout run with the Vancouver Bandits, averaging more than 21 points per game while shooting efficiently from the field and beyond the arc.

Wolfpack fans will undoubtedly be keeping an eye on his professional journey as he continues to chase his NBA dream.
