ESPN’s Joe Lunardi thinks the ACC is going to be really really good in basketball this year.  In his updated Bracketology projections (August 5th) he has 9 ACC teams projected to make the 2016 NCAA Tournament.  That’s 3 more than the next conference.  NC State is projected as a #7 seed in the Big Dance.  I wonder how much the addition of Maverick Rowan influenced Lunardi’s placement of the Wolfpack.

North Carolina – #1 seed
Virginia – #2 seed
Duke – #2 seed
Notre Dame – #5 seed
Louisville – #5 seed
NC State – #7 seed
Miami – #7 seed
Florida St. – #9 seed
Syracuse – #11 seed
