Dennis Smith Jr Elite in Preseason Victory (+ highlights)

Dennis Smith Jr is already turning heads in the NBA. The #9 overall pick is looking like a major steal thanks to his summer league play and his most recent preseason performance vs. the Orlando Magic.

Smith Jr. led the way for Dallas with 16 points on 7-15 shooting. He added 7 assists, 6 boards, and a steal. On top of that, he got some praise from his head coach.

Smith and the Mavs have to more preseason games left. One on Thursday vs Atlanta (on NBATV) and one on Friday in Charlotte (Good chance to go see him play live). After that it’s regular season time, as the Mavs are set to open it up Oct 18th vs the Hawks.
