For the 1st time ever, ALL of NC State’s fall sports have earned postseason bids.

Wolfpack Athletic Director Debbie Yow tweeted her approval yesterday as well.

In fact, NC State is in a league of their own right now. Only one other school has done what the Wolfpack have this Fall.

We know that the Football team is going to a bowl game, we just don’t know where yet. They became the 6th NC State team to win 6 ACC games in a season, and were the first team since 1994 to do so.

The Women’s Cross Country team defended their ACC Title, winning their 23rd Conference Championship. They also placed in the Top-10 nationally for the third straight season, finishing in 8th place this year.

The Men’s Cross Country team place 3rd in the ACC, and finished in 17th place at nationals, which is their highest finish since 2011.

George Kiefer’s first year as the Men’s Soccer coach was an epic success. The Wolfpack qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2009 (lost to #25 ODU in the 1st round), hosted their 1st ACC Tournament 1st round game at Dail Soccer Stadium. Picked to finish 11th in the ACC, they finished 7th, and also managed to upset 2 Top-5 teams (Clemson and Louisville).

The Women’s Soccer team advanced to the NCAA Tourney in back-to-back seasons for the 1st time since 1995-96 (Lost to Princeton in the 2nd round). They picked up 6 ACC wins, which was also the most since 1995. The Wolfpack made it to the Semifinals of the ACC Tournament for the 1st time since…you guessed it…1995.

NC State’s Women’s Volleyball team is having an unbelievable year. They set a program record with 15 ACC wins, and have advanced to the NCAA tournament for the 1st time since 2012, and only the 3rd time ever.
