Ricky Person Earns Most Outstanding Offensive Player at Shrine Bowl

Yesterday NC State 2018 Commit Ricky Person (RB) put on a show in the Shrine Bowl (All-Star Game between the state of NC and SC) leading North Carolina to a 55-24 victory over South Carolina, and earning the Most Outstanding Offensive Player Award.

Person accumulated 203 all purpose yards, and even managed to complete his one pass attempt for 14 yards. The Heritage High running back rushed the ball 15 times for 180 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 12 yards per carry.

On the final play of the game, Person took the ball and ran it 72-yards for a touchdown, and stiffarmed a defender straight into the ground on the way to doing so.

He also led North Carolina with 3 receptions for 23 yards, and one of them was a 14-yard touchdown on a screen pass.
