Former NC State All-American pitcher Carlos Rodon looked solid in his first rehab yesterday with the the Single-A Kannapolis Intimidators.

42 of his 65 pitches went for strikes, and he only allowed one earned run. He also struck out 6 batters over 5 innings.

He will join the Triple-A Charlotte Knights tomorrow, and start for them on Thursday.

Here’s what he had to say after his first rehab start yesterday.
