5-Star 2019 Point Guard Jalen Lecque (6’4″/190) will be announcing his college choice next Tuesday, October 2nd, according to Rivals’ Corey Evans.
Five-star guard Jalen Lecque will announce his collage choice on Tuesday. One of the most explosive players in America. My forecast selection is in. https://t.co/y0eo03686r
ESPN ranks Lecque as the #22 overall player in the 2019 recruiting class, and the #4 point guard. Lecque was playing for Christ School in Arden, North Carolina, but he recently transferred to Brewster Academy up in New Hampshire for his Senior season.
Evans also put in his prediction today, and he believes Lecque will choose NC State.
Practically all of the experts (12 out of 13) over at 247Sports think he will run with the Wolfpack.
That list includes National Analysts:
Evan Daniels
Jerry Meyer
Josh Gershon
Brian Snow
For context, these guys don’t miss. They each have made 80+ crystal ball projections, and Daniels, Gershon, and Snow each have an accuracy rate over 92%.
Basically, if Lecque chooses someone else besides NC State next Tuesday, the best in the business would be shocked.
Lecque has a Final 7 of NC State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Louisville, Oregon, TCU and UCLA, but he has only taken Official Visits to Raleigh and Knoxville, and doesn’t seem to need to take any more to make his decision.
Tuesday could be a HUGE day for NC State head coach Kevin Keatts on the recruiting trail.
4-Star Guard/Forward Bryce Heard has verbally committed to NC State! He chose to Run with the Wolfpack over a Final 4 that also included USC, Mississippi St., and Xavier.

This past season as a Junior at Nicolet High School (Glendale, Wisconsin), Hannah averaged 18.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. He also just participated in the NBA Top 100 camp, and was one of the standouts.
