Person, Louis & Witt Out for NC State Against Syracuse

What was a dreaded possibility all week has become a reality. NC State will be without Freshman Running Back Ricky Person and Senior Wide Receiver Stephen Louis.

Louis and Person have both struggled with staying on the field in 2018.

Person missed the Georgia State and Marshall games due to a hamstring injury, and it looked like he reinjured it against Clemson, and was seen on the sidelines on crutches. The loss of Person is a huge blow for the Pack. Despite playing in only 4 games, he leads the Wolfpack in explosive plays, with 12.

Louis isn’t simply a starting Wide Receiver, but he’s also a team captain. Louis missed the first game of the season due to a hamstring, and it looked like he broke his leg last Saturday, but the word is that it isn’t as bad as it could have been.

This marks the first game of the season that Redshirt Sophomore Left Tackle Justin Witt has missed. It was thought that Senior Right Guard Terronne Prescod might miss tonights game, but he is good to go. Junior Tyrone Riley is expected to take Witt’s place on the line.
