NC State’s coaching staff was up in Virginia yesterday watching 2021 4-Star Center Roosevelt Wheeler (6’10″/220).
Rivals ranks Wheeler as the #49 overall player nationally in the 2021 recruiting class, and 247Sports ranks him as the #3 player in the state of Virginia.
The Wolfpack have been on Wheeler for some time now, offering the big fella back on August 20th of last year. He also holds offers from Florida, Hampton, Old Dominion and VCU.
Wheeler was in attendance for NC State’s 94-74 victory over Wake Forest in Raleigh this year.
NC State’s roots in Virginia run deep, with every single coach spending time in the Commonwealth.
