Former NC State Catcher Andrew Knizer was called up from Triple-A (Memphis) on May 31st, with the legend Yadier Molina being assigned to the 10-day Injured List.

Last night he made his MLB debut, starting his first ever game in the bigs.

Knizer went 0-3 from the plate in his debut, but he walked away with a win, squatting behind the plate for one of the best pitchers in Cardinals history: Adam Wainwright.
