NC State is 7th in the Final Winter Directors’ Cup Standings

The Final Winter Standings for the Directors’ Cup were released today, and NC State is currently ranked 7th! In the Final Fall Standings, the Wolfpack ranked 19th.

NC State finished the 2022-23 athletic year ranked 19th in the Directors’ Cup Standings, marking the 3rd consecutive year the Wolfpack has finished in the Top-25.

The highest NC State has ever finished at the conclusion of an athletic year in the Directors’ Cup is 15th, in 2017-18. For perspective, the Wolfpack finished 5th in the Final Winter Standings that year.

For a reminder, the Directors’ Cup started during the 1993-94 season, with the goal of measuring whole athletic programs, instead of just glorifying individual sports.
