3-Star 2025 Small Forward Ryder Frost (6’6″/205) has received an offer from NC State.
247Sports ranks Frost as a 3-Star prospect, while the other databases have him as unranked (Rivals), or unlisted (ESPN & ON3). 247 ranks him as the #5 overall player in the state of Massachusetts in the 2025 recruiting class.
When it’s all said and done, I don’t expect Frost to be an unranked or unrated prospect by any database. He has been averaging 15 points and 8.2 rebounds for the Middlesex Magic in AAU ball in the Under Armour circuit this Spring, shooting 43% from three.
Sometimes everything can change in one day. Yesterday, after picking up an offer from Syracuse, Frost also picked up offers from Nebraska, Minnesota, Wake Forest, NC State, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech. Prior to yesterday, Frost also held offers from West Virginia, Iowa, Penn State and others.
Frost looks to be one of the best three-point shooters in the nation in the 2025 recruiting class. He plays High School ball for Phillips Exeter in Exeter, New Hampshire.
Here’s a look at some highlights from his recent AAU circuit.
Here’s a look at Frost’s Junior Highlights at Exeter, where he helped lead them to the state title. He was named the Player of the Year in New Hampshire, averaging 21.6 point and 7.7 rebounds per game, shooting 44 percent from three, making 201 from beyond the arc.
How is this guy only a 3-star? Let the NIL roll in!
