Hibbler was a Senior this season, but since he opted to leave the team after the first four games, he maintained his redshirt.

He has 1 year of eligibility remaining.

In 2023, Hibbler came to NC State as a JUCO recruit, and made an instant impact. He led the Wolfpack in sacks, with 6.5, and ranked 2nd in tackles for loss (7).

ESPN ranked Hibbler as the #3 overall JUCO prospect in the 2023 class.

Even though he only recorded 6 tackles through 4 games, with no sacks or tackles for loss, he did have a PFF grade of 71.8.

Hibbler desired to not be used strictly as a pass rusher at NC State this year, and through 4 games, it was clear that he hadn’t proven to the coaches that he was going to be used in that manner.

Hibbler is the 1 of 10 NC State players to enter the Transfer Portal this year, but he’s the first to find a new home.
