NC State Women’s Basketball Falls 3 Spots in the Week 16 AP Poll

The NC State Women’s Basketball team (20-5/12-2) fell 3 spots in the Week 16 AP Poll after beating Miami by 2, and losing at UNC 65-66 yesterday in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels were #12 when they played, but they jumped up to #9 in today’s new rankings.

ACC Teams in the Week 16 AP Poll

1. Notre Dame (+1)
9. UNC (+3)
11. Duke (+2)
13. NC State (-3)
20. Georgia Tech (-1)
26. Cal (-)
28. Louisville (+8)
30. FSU (-7)

NC State has been ranked in 15 of the 16 AP Polls this season.

The Wolfpack has a challenging week ahead of them, with a game at #20 Georgia Tech on Thursday, and a game at home against #1 Notre Dame on Sunday.
