Joe Giglio reporting that NC State met with Justin Gainey and is apparently meeting with Will Wade right now

If you’ve followed sports in the Triangle then you know Joe Giglio. He was a beat writer for the N&O, a radio talk show host for WRAL and now he’s partners with Joe Ovies on the OG podcast.

Giglio has connections and was the one to break the initial “Will Wade is NC State’s #1 option” news the day Keatts was fired. Now he’s back with some more juicy intel.

From two different sources: it won’t be Mike White or Ryan Odom.

The money/collective side has pushed hard for Will Wade. That is their choice and have made it known to Boo.

Boo has talked to Justin Gainey and that would be his choice.

If you ask me, I think it’s becoming clear that NC State is putting on the full court press for Will Wade, in fact, Giglio went even further in this video, stating that Justin Gainey has met with NC State and that the meeting with Will Wade is apparently happening now.

Great news for NC State fans, but none of this matters until ink dries on paper, however, the fact that NC State is on the move is definitely encouraging.

This news is also being verified in multiple places. We got intel earlier this morning that there would be a Wade meeting very soon and we were told that Virginia is the likely landing place for Odom. It’s also being verified on multiple NC State media sites as well.

This one is not a drill, people. But can Boo seal the deal? We WILL have to WADE and see.
