NC State is Tied for the 9th Most Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament Appearances

NC State earned a #2 seed in the 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, marking the 30th time that they’ve played in the Big Dance. The Wolfpack’s 30 NCAA Tournament appearances is tied for the 9th most in the history of the tournament.

NC State’s 16 Sweet Sixteen appearances is tied for the 10th most.

The Wolfpack has advanced to the Elite Eight 3 times (1998, 2022 & 2024), and the Final Four twice (1998 & 2024).
