Chloe Negrete is NC State’s 1st All-American Gymnast in a Decade

Senior Chloe Negrete earned 2nd Team WCGA All-American honors this year, becoming the first NC State All-American Gymnast in a decade, and the 3rd ever!

She also has been named the WCGA Southeast Region Gymnast of the Year, becoming the 3rd Wolfpack Gymnast to win the honor.

In addition to her performance at Regionals, the 2025 season saw Negrete solidify her legacy at NC State with 24 podium finishes, including 13 individual victories. She posted 13 scores of 9.900 or higher, including a career-high 9.975 on beam (twice in 2025), a season-best 9.975 on floor against No. 23 Ohio State, and a career-best 9.900 on vault at the George Washington quad meet. That vault earned her Week 10 Gymnast of the Week honors. Negrete was also named ACC Specialist of the Week four times this season (Weeks 2, 4, 7, and 11), making her the only gymnast in the ACC to receive the honor four times in 2025.

Negrete holds NC State’s highest scores of the season on both beam and floor and is tied for first in the conference on beam and sixth on floor. (GoPack)
