NC State Offers 2026 International Guard Aaron Ekwere

NC State offered 2026 International Shooting Guard Aaron Ekwere (6’6″) a scholarship back on April 30th.

Ekwere is from Finland, and is currently 19 years old. Last Summer, he represented Finland in the U18 European Basketball Championships, averaging 9.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 7 games. This past season, he played for Drive Academy Black in the Finnish U19/U20 EYBL League, averaging 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists.

He now holds offers from NC State, Texas A&M, Utah, Rhode Island, Duquesne and South Carolina.

With the signing of Center Paul Mbiya, Will Wade and his staff are showing that they are passionate about recruiting internationally.
