NC State is targeting 2026 4-Star Shooting Guard Markus Kerr (6’6″/180).

ESPN, ON3 and Rivals rate Kerr as a 4-Star prospect, while 247Sports give him 3 stars. ON3 ranks him as the #78 overall player nationally in the 2026 recruiting class, the #18 Shooting Guard and the #3 player in the state of North Carolina.

Kerr plays for Julius Chambers High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. This past season, he averaged 20.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals for the Cougars.

Kerr currently holds offers from Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Mississippi St., VCU, Georgia, Georgetown, Arizona St., Texas A&M, West Virginia and others.
