UCONN Transfer Guard Qadence Samuels (6’0″) has signed with NC State!

Wes Moore’s Comments

“We’re excited to add Qadence to the Pack,” said Moore. “She is someone we followed and recruited throughout her high school career. Offensively, she has the ability to score at all 3-levels. Her length and athleticism makes her a playmaker on the defensive end and a factor on the boards. I know our fans will enjoy her energy as well.” (GP)

Samuels saw action in 33 games this year for the National Champion Huskies, averaging 1.3 points in 5.5 minutes per game. In 2023-24, she averaged 5.0 points and 2.6 rebounds in 36 games, averaging 12.3 minutes per contest.

For her career, Samuels is shooting 38.5% from the field, and 33.1% from three.

As a member of UCONN, Samuels scored 14 points in a 92-81 win against NC State in Reynolds Coliseum back in 2023, shooting 5 of 9 from the field, and 4 of 8 from three.

Samuels has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Coming out of high school, ESPN ranked Samuels as the #41 overall player nationally in the 2023 recruiting class.
