Former NC State 1st Baseman Matt Ossenfort is transferring to Michigan.

Ossenfort hit .240 this season in 24 games (16 starts). He transferred to NC State this past offseason from Vanderbilt, where he played in 6 games as a Freshman. Coming out of High School, Ossenfort was the #10 1st Baseman in the 2023 recruiting class.

He has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

14 NC State players have now entered the transfer portal since it opened. 8 have found new homes.
