NC State (15-6, 8-2 ACC) delivered one of its most dominant offensive performances in program history on Wednesday night, rolling past Boston College 106-84 on the road.

The Wolfpack’s 106 points marked the third-most ever scored against an ACC opponent, and the most since 1991, when NC State dropped 120 on Virginia. It was also the team’s highest-scoring road performance since 1992, when the Pack hung 127 points on Howard.

Offensive Clinic in Chestnut Hill

NC State was nearly unstoppable from start to finish, torching the nets at an incredible 61.3% shooting – the team’s best mark since November 29, 2020.

Leading the way once again was Junior Guard Zoe Brooks, who followed up her career-high 37-point outing against Virginia with another monster performance:

  • 27 points
  • 7 assists
  • 12-of-12 from the free throw line
  • 7-of-11 from the field

Brooks has now firmly established herself as one of the most dangerous guards in the ACC.

Big Nights Across the Board

The scoring depth was just as impressive as the efficiency.

Tylda Trygger delivered a career night:

  • 25 points
  • 10-of-14 shooting
  • 2-of-3 from three

Zam Jones continued her hot shooting:

  • 18 points
  • 4-of-7 from beyond the arc

And, as expected, Khamil Pierre was dominant inside:

  • 19 points
  • 12 rebounds
  • 8-of-10 shooting
  • 13th double-double of the season

Historic Efficiency

As a team:

  • 61.3% FG
  • Best shooting night in over four years
  • One of the most efficient offensive performances in ACC play this season

Yet despite the blowout win, NC State oddly fell from No. 25 to No. 28 in the NET Rankings — a puzzling result following such a dominant road performance.

What’s Next

The Wolfpack now turn their attention to a massive rivalry matchup against UNC on Monday night, who currently ranks 21st in the NET.
