NC State Ace Ryan Marohn Earns Preseason All-American Honors

Ryan Marohn continues to stack respect before the 2026 season even begins.

The NC State junior starting pitcher has been named a Third Team Preseason All-American by both NCBWA and Perfect Game, further cementing his status as one of the top arms in college baseball heading into the year.

Marohn was outstanding in 2025, finishing the season with an 8-3 record and a 3.38 ERA across 14 starts. What truly separated him, though, was his command. He struck out 91 batters while walking just 19 in 59 innings, giving him one of the best strikeout-to-walk ratios in the ACC.

That performance earned him Third Team All-ACC honors, and the league rankings tell the story of just how effective he was:
