Monmouth transfer guard Jason Rivera-Torres (6’7”, 195 pounds) is receiving interest from NC State, along with a long list of other schools.

Rivera-Torres is seeking his fourth school in four years, having previously spent time at Vanderbilt and San Francisco before breaking out this past season at Monmouth.

In his lone season with Monmouth, Rivera-Torres averaged 15.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game, showcasing his ability to impact the game across the board. He shot 40.2% from the field.

His production earned him All-CAA Second Team honors, along with a spot on the conference’s All-Defensive Team.

According to 247Sports, Rivera-Torres is rated as a 3-star transfer prospect, ranked as the No. 187 overall player in the portal and the No. 37 shooting guard.

A 6’7” guard with that level of versatility is going to draw attention.
