NC State Reaches Out to Duquesne Transfer Guard Jimmie Williams

NC State has reached out to Duquesne transfer guard Jimmie Williams, according to reports.

Williams is coming off a strong season with Duquesne, where he averaged 15.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 46.3% from the field. His performance earned him Third Team All-Atlantic 10 honors.

Prior to his breakout season, Williams spent time at South Florida, where he averaged 7.5 points per game and shot an efficient 40% from three-point range.

Before that, he began his collegiate career in the JUCO ranks, earning JUCO All-American honors in 2024.

Williams has drawn significant interest in the portal, hearing from SMU, Ohio State, Seton Hall, Oklahoma, Xavier, Baylor, Texas A&M, DePaul, LSU, Ole Miss, Memphis, TCU, and Virginia Tech, in addition to NC State.

He will have one year of eligibility remaining at his next destination.
