First Team All-ACC forward Khamil Pierre is returning to NC State next season — and it’s massive news for the Wolfpack.

After transferring in from Vanderbilt, Pierre made an immediate and dominant impact in Raleigh.

She averaged 16.9 points and 11.9 rebounds per game, setting a new career high on the glass. She led the ACC in rebounding and ranked seventh nationally.

Pierre was a double-double machine all season, recording 22 on the year, which was good for first in the ACC and third nationally.

Simply put, it was one of the best individual seasons in program history.

Her 2025-26 campaign ranks:

  • 2nd in single-season double-doubles
  • 2nd in total rebounds in a season
  • 2nd in rebounds per game in a season
  • 3rd most rebounds in a single game (21)

With Pierre returning, NC State retains one of the most dominant frontcourt players in the country…a foundational piece as the Wolfpack looks ahead to next season.
