NC State’s incredible year in athletics continues to roll on with the Men and Women’s Tennis teams both making the postseason.
The #22 Wolfpack Men’s Tennis team has advanced to the NCAA Men’s Tennis Championships for the first time since 2015, marking their 8th ever tournament bid. They finished the season with a 17-8 record, and their 16-7 regular season record was the best winning percentage since 2012. The Wolfpack has thrived under first-year head coach Kyle Spencer, ranking in the Top-25 for a total of 9 weeks.
The Wolfpack will head to the Texas (Austin) Regional to take on California (11-9) in the first round on Friday, May 11 at 2 p.m. ET.
The #38 NC State Women’s Tennis team advanced to the NCAA Tennis Championships for the third consecutive season, and their 9th ever in school history. NC State holds a record of 17-7 and 7-7 in ACC play; it’s seven ACC wins tie a program-best.
