EA Sports has officially released its player ratings for the forthcoming College Football 27, which launches on July 9.

Leading the way for NC State is one of the Wolfpack’s biggest offseason additions.

Wide receiver Victor Snow, who became NC State’s first Transfer Portal commitment after arriving from Buffalo, is the highest-rated player on the roster with an overall grade of 88.

Snow earned First Team All-MAC honors last season after hauling in 62 receptions for 815 yards and eight touchdowns. He also rushed 12 times for 91 yards and two scores while adding a punt return touchdown.

According to EA Sports, Snow is tied for the sixth-highest rated wide receiver in the ACC.

Top Defensive Player

Cornerback Brian Nelson II is the highest-rated defensive player on NC State’s roster with an overall rating of 87.

Nelson recorded 29 tackles, six pass breakups, and one tackle for loss last season. Prior to transferring to NC State, he earned First Team All-AAC honors at North Texas.

EA Sports ranks Nelson as the third-highest rated cornerback in the ACC.

CJ Bailey Ranked Fourth Among ACC Quarterbacks

Quarterback CJ Bailey received an overall rating of 84.

Personally, that feels a bit low.

After throwing for more than 3,100 yards and 25 touchdowns last season, Bailey has already proven he’s one of the ACC’s top quarterbacks. Still, EA Sports ranks him as just the fourth-highest quarterback in the conference.

It appears Bailey will once again have plenty of motivation entering the 2026 season.

Transfer Portal Talent Showing Up

NC State’s aggressive work in the Transfer Portal is reflected throughout the ratings.

According to EA Sports, five of the Wolfpack’s top 10 players are newcomers.

Five Transfers Rank Among NC State’s Top 10 Players

1. WR Victor Snow (Buffalo)
4. FS King Mack (Penn State)
6. OLB Harvey Dyson (Tulane)
9. RB Davion Gause (North Carolina)
10. WR Davion Dozier (Appalachian State)

King Mack is tied for the fourth-highest rated safety in the ACC, while Harvey Dyson checks in as the conference’s second-highest rated outside linebacker.

Teague Andersen remains one of the anchors of NC State’s offensive line.

EA Sports rates the veteran right tackle among the conference’s best, tying him for the fifth-highest rating at his position in the ACC.

With Andersen leading the offensive line and Bailey returning at quarterback, the Wolfpack will rely on a strong veteran core alongside its talented group of transfers.
