Dennis Smith Jr. Off To a Quick Start in Preseason

The NBA Preseason kicked off this week, and former NC State Point Guard Dennis Smith Jr. officially made his NBA Debut. While he didn’t shoot the way he would like, he still managed to lead the Mavericks in 1 game, and was second in scoring in another behind Harrison Barnes.

Game 1: Mavs vs Bucks – 12 minutes, 3 points (1-5 FG/1-3 3PT/0-2 FT), 2 steals, 1 assist, 1 rebound, 1 turnover
Game 2: Mavs vs Bulls – 18 minutes, 14 points (5-9 FG/2-4 3PT/2-3 FT), 3 assists, 2 steals, 2 rebounds, 4 turnover
Game 3: Mavs vs Magic – 19 minutes, 13 points (3-14 FG/2-3 3PT/3-3 FG), 1 assist, 3 rebounds, 1 block, 1 turnover
