Dennis Smith Jr Leads in Scoring Again, Mavs Lose Again

Former Dennis Smith Jr led the Mavs in Scoring for the second straight game, dropping 18 points and 5 rebounds on the Timberwolves last night. Despite his efforts, the Mavs fell to 1-10 on the season.

Dennis’ shot was more efficient, shooting 7-15 from the field and 3-5 from deep range. The rookie continued to struggle with his assist-to-turnover ratio, collecting only one assist compared to four turnovers.

Through 9 games, Smith is averaging 13.3 points and 4.6 assists per game.
